"I do not give anyone the power to spoil my joy of living."
What a statement! What a mantra! What a great way to remind me that I am not to give my power away. That if I doubt myself all I have to do is look into a mirror and into my eyes... Look at my soul and get answers.
Let's face it, people are always trying to control you and make you doubt who you are and what you are. What most people do not realize is that control is an illusion. No one can control you unless you give them the power to do so. It is all about free will and self empowerment.
I will not let others decide whether or not I have joy in my life. It is up to me to see joy in everything around me. Life is hard enough being a roller coaster with many ups and downs. It is up to me, ONLY, to decide whether I will live in misery or joy. I choose JOY!
Look into yourself.... are you living in joy or in misery? Are you giving your power away? Are you ready to take it back?
